Impact Tester
Description:
The impact tester is used to simulate the impact strength or resistance against sudden deformation under controlled, standardized conditions.
A freely falling defined object with defined weight is thereby dropped onto the coated surface (direct method) or onto a defined indenter which transfers the impact-impuls to the the coated surface (indirect method).
The deformed surface is checked for cracks
