Dryingtime Recorder (6 lanes)
Description:
A coating’s drying time or drying process can be determined with the dryingtime recorder.
The substance to be tested is applied onto a glass strip (the dryingtime recorder in combination with the cube applicator automatically applies the film directly). The meassurement can then be started immediately without any interruption.
Now the pin moves along the coated glass strip with a defined speed (adjustable from 1 min to 240 h for a complete lane) and leaves a groove in the wet (but over time, drying) film.
If necessary, the running pins can be provided with weights
The device can now be left unattended.
The evaluation takes place with the help of the groove which the running pins have left on the coating material. The individual drying phases as well as the position where the pin no longer leaves a groove can be determined. From here the coating material is dry.
The drying time (no visible groove) and the individual drying phases can be read off: After the test, the pin can be moved to any position and the time required up to that point can be read off.
The device has 6 lanes. Two of them are always operated together.
All tracks can be set individually (running pin time for a lane, from 1 min to 240 h)
