Paint Inspection Gauge (PIG)
Description:
The Paint Inspection Gauge is an instrument for testing the layer thickness (destructive method). It is suitable for the examination of mono- and multilayers on all substrates, eg. Aluminum, iron, plastic, wood, concrete or glass.
Application principle:
On the test surface, an incision is made with a V-shaped blade. The layer thickness can be measured under the LED light with the integrated microscope.
